I realised I’ve not posted in a while. Among other things, I’ve been busy working on some exciting new projects (watch this space) and helping to get some new outbreak data science training programmes off the ground.
I’ve also been writing wider articles about Proof, and doing lots of talks, interviews and podcasts, so thought I’d share some of them here for anyone who’s interested:
My 3 greatest revelations while writing Proof, in Nautilus
My talk on why we find it easier to trust some concepts and ideas over others, featured on TED.com
5 lessons on finding truth in an uncertain world, in Fast Company
What’s True to You? A podcast with Alan Alda
How a Cup of Tea Laid the Foundations for Modern Statistical Analysis – a book extract in Wired
Is the truth really the truth? A Futureproof podcast
And finally, I’m pleased to say that Barnes & Noble have named Proof as one of the Best Science and Technology Books of 2025 so far and the New York Times has recommended Proof as a father’s day present, in case you need any last-minute inspiration.
Adam, I thought I missed your post! Thank you for the update and I'd like to tell you, our library just received the copies of your book. Am looking forward to learn from it.
